About us

Diaconia Hands of Grace

We are a non-profit Community Based Organization (CBO) registered in 2025 under the. We carry out our operations in the Kisii South Sub-County, but in case of church projects in our charge, our organization does perform its work wherever the respective church project site is located within the church’s jurisdiction.

Mission

Provide exemplary humanitarian services to the vulnerable (physical, psychological and economic) to enable them stand on their own and compete on equal terms with the rest of society.

Our Goal

Our goal is to support the vulnerable among the children, youths and women and local victims of SGBV, through capacity building activities to achieve knowledge, skills, networks and motivation that will make them aim to have an improved acceptable living standard and gain human dignity and self-esteem.

Our Objectives

Our Objectives

We empower communities by promoting sustainable development, improving livelihoods, and creating opportunities for inclusive social and economic growth..
  •  In collaboration with partners work towards the uplifting the economic wellbeing of the socially disadvantaged and prevention of sexual and gender-based violence while creating an enabling environment and awareness on the same.
  •  Provide sexual reproductive health and sanitation services and products to women and the girl child
  •  In collaboration with partners work towards the economic empowerment of the needy while creating an environment of continuous actualization of their potentials
  •  To establish an endowment fund to receive grants, donations, gifts and any other assistance in any form whatsoever from legitimate sources approved by the board for any one or more of the objectives
  •  To apply to any government authorities, public bodies, corporations, companies or persons for and to accept grants or gift subscriptions and other assistance in furtherance of the objectives of the Organization
  •  To create a forum for beneficiary individuals and groups to exchange ideas and share experiences which are mutually beneficial
